A lot happened the past months, the blog was not a priority so I missed the updates for the last scenarios I played with Alex.
We ended up playing up to the 9th Scenario where we paused the campaign till there are new Scenarios and maps to play.
I will compile below photos and information for those scenarios and any terrain I made for those.
Scenario IV – Armored Train
For this scenario there was the need for 3 train wagons. Well I winged them and tried to make something purely from wood! It went quite well given the material I had!

This was the first one I made, looked more like a box so that one would be the center one. One side had a sliding door and the other side had a small door with a handle. Given it was made as a box (mainly as mistake) it would be the best place to have the turret gun that the scenario mentions.
Next are the 2 other wagons:

It was simpler and faster to make as I made each side ahead and glued those together. Both side had sliding doors that I made by making the door separately and having as a guide some round small dowels so the door can slide open and close.
One wagon had a yellow corrugated roof and the other a blue so it would be easier to pick and choose.
Painting was quite easy if there is a airbrush 😛 Likely mine did a good job covering all the wood in a brown base color.

I had to check if all would be nice for the game and they looked waaaay bigger than I thought.
It feels that those should be smaller for a 32mm game but I went on with it.

These were also the material used to make the wheels for each wagon. The actual wheels were out of kid model bikes and with some small dowels and wooden cubes each wagon had 2 axle wheels.

The scenario showed also a tough incline for the wagons which I had no foam to make so something like this had to give 😛
The scenario was quite good and we had quite some fun with the terrain!!
Scenario V – Storming the shores
I made a small flag for Alex’s army out of a lentil bag.

Game was Storming the Shores so we setup the board with him being the defense and the flag being in the center piece (terrain from 40k).

Scenario VI – Random Scenario with Tunnels

For this game I made 2 tunnel entrances (as shown in the photos) from round thick board as the base and some small coffee stirrers as the trap door. Black base paint and some grey dry brush made the rocks pop. Classic brown and dark wash with some brown highlight was all what was needed for this to look like something would pop out from!
Scenario VII – Dragon Hunt
Yeah there is a scenario where there is a dragon appearing in the center, trying to kill civilians and then running out of the board! Meanwhile we fought to get the most out of the points. Either killing civilians or killing the Dragon (well we managed quite easily :P). Apparently there was a v2 of this scenario which I didn’t know, that made the dragon a bit more interesting but well 😛 it is what it is!

Some base color for the dragon not to be plastic grey and then brought some civilians from DnD and other projects!! Also I got some Temu 3d printed terrain to fill the board a bit more (ended up using them quite a lot and I painted some of those some months later on).
Scenario VIII – Random Generator with 3 objectives in buildings

This is the last game, in this I didn’t need anything new, it was a random generator one. After this we got a bit bored to continue rolling random scenarios to close of the campaign and we called it off till there is new stuff to play 😛
Finishing this series for now with a happy note, as I managed to outdo my self, work on new stuff, build a modular trench board and scratch build a lot of stuff!!! I think I am done with all the chocolate color terrain for now 😛
