I got the book and printed cardboard templates, got some matchbox and hotwheels to masacre and we tried it out 😛

In this post I will show the progress of terrain and cars built for this game, for the first couple of races we managed to have the past months!

Ended up buying a lot of cars to try out and build some factions from the game.

Went with the scotchs idea dark blue and white marks. Ended up dropping the idea to focus on more generic cars that can fit on any sponsor.

To “upgrade” a car, had to drill both pins under it, open it up, paint black the glasses and probably most of the times, upgrade the wheels from some Temu aftermarket, change a bit the chassis or in some cases leave it as it was and focus on the exterior.

I tried using the dremel to scrape the color down to the metal and later on just painted over the main color with the airbrush which ended up being the easiest.

The misc parts were 40k weapons and bits from my older armies that I kept. Those fit the theme quite well!

We played 2 races and I used in both the 2 above cars with some extra. Ended up using them quite a lot and they looked quite well made and ready for a fight!

Below you can see some photos from the races:

I got a windmill from a MDF kit I bought which fit as a center obstacle and some extra crates and material I had lying around. For the second race I had from Temu some model road plastic boxes that fit quite nice to make the race boundaries. I started also working on some of the gates that I would use in the game from cardboard and some handmade stencils which ended up working quite well!!

Lastly I went into the road building part, using a black sanding paper as the asphalt road and some stencils made from masking tape, spraying with the airbrush lines and the starting grid!

We will continue playing Gaslands as it’s a really fun and addicting game, easy to pick up and learn while also have a twist with some insane moves you could do that make it thrilling and fun to play!
